About Us
The Premier Resource for Crossover Musical Exploration
Crossover Music Magazine is your premier destination for information about the classical crossover genre and beyond. Our pages are filled with in-depth articles, exclusive interviews, and reviews that delve into the nuances of music. Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast, or a newcomer eager to explore, our magazine is your gateway to a world where genres intertwine and boundaries blur.
We create content on a variety of platforms. Our website has our latest articles, and you can receive digital copies of our issues via our newsletter and also purchase physical copies. We hold annual online concerts (A Crossover Christmas, Movies & Musicals), monthly livestreams, and podcasts that appeal to fans and artists alike.
Our Story
Established in 2013 with the core purpose of supporting artists and celebrating the beauty of crossover music, our magazine has evolved into a dynamic platform that has resonated with enthusiasts worldwide.
Crossover Music Magazine began as a humble effort fueled by a passion for music that defies boundaries. Our creator, Natasha Barbieri, recognized the need for a platform that not only appreciates the richness of the classical crossover genre but also champions the diverse talents that breathe life into it. Through the years the magazine has continued to grow (first as Talent, then Classical Crossover Magazine and now Crossover Music Magazine) and artists and fans alike trust Crossover Music Magazine to showcase the best talent.
A Symphony of Genres
In 2024, Crossover Music Magazine is poised to embark on an exciting new chapter. While remaining rooted in our love for classical crossover, we are broadening our horizons to encompass a spectrum of crossover genres. Our commitment to high-quality music remains steadfast as we welcome folk, inspirational, classical, Broadway, and more into our musical tapestry.
Shining the Spotlight on Indie Artists
We have been privileged to feature some of the biggest artists in crossover music (Sarah Brightman, Paul Potts, Celtic Woman, The Piano Guys) but in particular we are committed to shining the spotlight on independent artists. In 2023, we launched our very first music competition and hope to continue to do so in the years to come.
