Biography
Classically trained identical twin singers Naomi and Hannah Moxon appeared on BBC’s show ‘The Voice’ three years ago; receiving over 3.5 million views of their angelic blind audition. Naomi and Hannah have independently achieved a number 3 selling album Echo, in the UK classical charts, subsequently being featured on Classic FM and multiple BBC radio stations. Classical Reflection headlined at The Royal Albert Hall for Bloodwise’s Christmas With The Stars, singing for HRH Duke Of Kent and performing at The Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room for JDRF. The ladies also have been made patrons of the charity Music Man Project and are performing the prom favourite Rule Britannia at The Royal Albert Hall next year. Naomi and Hannah have been nominated for The Sound Of Classical Poll at the Classic Brit Awards 2018 and were featured in the Classical Poll as a ‘Spotlight’ act. They have performed for international rugby dinners, celebrity galas, and beside fellow singers in concert, performing alongside Brian Conley and Rosemarie Ford in Covent Garden, classical star Aled Jones and Matt Terry.
Naomi and Hannah’s love of singing began when they were only seven years old. They signed up to their local church choir and quickly found a love for choral music, performing together in a matter of weeks. Subsequently, they went on to achieve grade 8 in classical singing, and even to this day they still receive regular vocal lessons from celebrity vocal coach, Yvie Burnett.
Classical Reflection have performed alongside a number of classical crossover artists; Number one selling tenor Aled Jones, and the Brit-award winning group, Blake. The duo were billed alongside Blake and Sinfonia Viva Orchestra at the prestigious Last Night of Blickling Proms with an audience over 6000.
Naomi and Hannah have also successfully toured their own debut album, The Vow, nationwide. The Vow features a variety of beautiful and meaningful songs and was produced under the musical directorship of Adrian Sutcliffe; a highly talented composer who has performed on the BBC, Classic FM and at the Royal Albert Hall. The album features original pieces written by the number one selling composer Christopher Broom, which Naomi and Hannah recorded in Air Edel studios in London.
Their second album ECHO, which was released in April 2017, shot straight to number 3 in the UK Classical Charts with national coverage support on BBC radio stations and Classic FM. The album features the talented musical director Adrian Sutcliffe, world-renown conductor Steve Bingham, talented composer Chris Broom, and the incredible Ely Sinfonia Orchestra. It features magnificent classical songs in close harmony, such as Pie Jesu, as well as film scores, such as Nelle Tu Mani from Gladiator. The album is in support of Alzheimer’s Society; £1 from every album sold will be donated to the charity.
