Official Biography

KATIE IS A 16 YEAR OLD RISING STAR IN THE CLASSICAL MUSIC WORLD. SHE HAS BEEN HAVING CLASSICAL SINGING LESSONS FROM THE AGE OF 6 YEARS & SHOWED ENORMOUS TALENT FROM AN EXTREMELY YOUNG AGE.

It was Katie’s love of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera” that first stirred in her the passion to sing Classical music.

Her unique & gorgeous Soprano voice has won her lots of fans from around the world & her presence, poise and charm mesmerises everyone who hears her.

Katie’s rise from performing in her home town as a young girl, to appearing alongside stars such as Julian Ovenden in the Downton Abbey Christmas CD, at the O2 in the Next Brit Thing, as a Soloist on tour with BGT’s Jonathan Antoine, performing with G4 on their Christmas Tour & joining André Rieu’s Soprano, Mirusia Louwerse on tour in the Netherlands. All of this demonstrates her great talent & hard work.

Katie supports many charities both locally & around the country, singing at fundraising events. She is a Prince’s Trust, Children’s Air Ambulance, Born Free Foundation & Anna’s Hope Ambassador.

She sings in a Chamber Choir, plays the piano & performs in Musical theatre productions. She was cast as Belle in her schools 2014 musical theatre production of Beauty & the Beast. She is now cast in the lead role of Maria in the upcoming show of West Side Story in July 2016 at school.

She recorded “Dark Waltz” in London with the composer Matteo Saggese (Katherine Jenkins / Il Divo) and produced by Matteo Saggese and Chris Porter (Alfie Boe / Elaine Paige). Click here to listen.

Katie released her first EP in 2015 mastered at the iconic Abbey Rosd Studios. It included a duet with Paul Phoenix (King’s Singers) John Brunning from Classic FM’s Drivetime, sent Katie the score of his Pie Jesu for her to sing & attended the recording sessions in London.

Katie worked with the composer Andrew Jones, to compose an original song “Per Aspera” on her EP

She performed as a soloist & duetted with Jonathan Antoine on his first UK Solo tour in 2015

She recently joined André Rieu’s Soprano Mirusia Louwerse on her Netherlands Tour in April 2016 performing as a soloist & duetting with Mirusia.
