Official Biography

It’s always refreshing to discover an artist who surprises with new material. Suzanne Rentzke’s music is original, serious, full of emotion and nostalgia, woven together with remembrances and personal experiences.

When you first listen to Suzanne Rentzke’s music, she reminds you of her stylish female classical crossover icons. Yet she surprises with her fresh, unpretentious, but classical approach to her own music as well as those of other songwriters.

Suzanne grew up in Darling on the Cape West Coast and matriculated in 2000 at the Paarl Girls’ High School, where she already shown promise in the singing with numerous awards. In 2001 she was chosen as part of the South African team to take part in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, USA. From 2005 she performed at various theatres with her solo performances, Ek hou van blou, Met Jou including Huisgenoot Skouspel, numerous festivals, corporate functions, fundraising events and churches.

Suzanne received vocal training from internationally acclaimed opera singers Andrea Catzel and Emma Renzi for over 10 years.

Besides her singing career she also is a seasoned PR professional, Production Manager, Actress and currently Head of Content for NicheStreem.
