Ahora, a new album by the Romo-Agri-Messiez Tango Trio

12 months after performing together for the first time, three Classical Crossover artists have joined forces to create the new 10-song album, Ahora.

The trio have aimed to delight by taking a new approach to the tango genre, aiming at those who enjoy original compositions in a new style and shaking up a traditional genre.
Included in the lineup are three of today’s best-known tango musicians, Horacio Romo on Bandoneon, Emiliano Messiez on Piano, and Pablo Agri on Violin.

The trio’s debut album is a mix of original compositions, written jointly between the members, and arrangements of well-known pieces in the band’s unique style.
Each member has a long and distinguished history in the genre but wanted to bring a new take to tango music.

The trio offers us an enriched vision of the vast tango universe combining creations with repertoire pieces in unexpected versions. As a group, they assume their position as artists from this musical present and clearly find a line of continuity with the past
