By Way of the Wind from Robin Spielberg

“By Way of the Wind” is a dreamy new album by the American composer, Robin Spielberg. With a talent for crafting enchanting melodies, Spielberg has woven together an album that evokes the ambiance of a romantic adventure. The opening track, “Flying,” is a standout, swelling with promise and optimism.

“A Song for Jennie” introduces a beautiful interplay of duetting flutes, effortlessly transitioning to highlight other instrument pairings. “Return of a Knight” stands out with its regal and commanding presence, while “In the Arms of the Wind” gracefully underscores the theme of change and transformation.

The album culminates with the evocative “New Freedom Suite,” where the first movement, “Memories of Utopia,” is especially delightful. Throughout the album, Spielberg provides a charming escape from the chaotic pace of our modern world, offering a sanctuary where lyrical beauty flourishes, making “By Way of the Wind” an enchanting and tranquil musical journey.
