Biography

Natasha Hardy is a classical-crossover singer-songwriter from London, England. Her voice has been described as ‘angelic, haunting and ethereal’.

Natasha is trained in both classical and contemporary traditions and writes her own material. Her fusion of classical and contemporary styles results in a beautiful cinematic blend of ethereal vocals with operatic, Celtic and ambient elements.

Natasha brings a modern yet timeless twist to classical music.

Her musical influences come from the ethereal voices of Enya and Sarah McLachlan, to the operatic voices of Renee Fleming and Angela Georgiou; film composers Hans Zimmer, Gabriel Yared and artists Enigma and Faithless.

Natasha’s beautiful tone and line, combined with her inspiring powerful lyrics really captivate; her groundbreaking debut album ‘Lost in Love’ makes you feel as though you have entered an otherworldy realm where you lose yourself in the music.

Natasha Hardy’s debut Album, ‘Lost in Love’ is a collection of self-penned love songs inspired by her passions, heartaches and the fairy-tale fantasies that falling in love can bring. Natasha’s beautiful vocals seamlessly unite the contemporary/operatic divide. With the cinematic inspired arrangements comprising operatic, orchestral, Celtic and ambient elements ‘Lost in Love’ brings a new twist to the classical crossover market.

The beautiful cinematic style arrangements feature award winning violinist, Dermot Crehan, (Lord of the Rings, Narnia, London Philharmonic Orchestra) and a plethora of talented musicians. The ‘Lost in Love’ album comprises 10 tracks of pristinely produced music, produced and arranged by Tom E Morrison (Viking Destiny, Bonnie Tyler), and features one track produced by film composer Michael A Levine (Hunger Games, Siren). The album was funded and executive produced by Natasha herself.

The first singles from the album, ‘In Too Deep’ and ‘Mi Ritiro’ have garnered some great feedback including ‘In Too Deep’ receiving the ‘chart breaker song of the week’ from Spirit Radio Ireland, and both songs have been supported by national and international radio including the BBC among others. The song ‘Strong’ was licensed to the feature film ‘Viking Destiny’ featuring Terence Stamp.
