A look back with Elisa Rose

Canadian Singer/songwriter Elisa Rose

Since 2017, Elisa has recorded three albums and 14 singles. Her first album in 2017, Beauty, Passion, Voice, was a crossover album blending opera, musical theatre, and pop. This was followed by the holiday album Grown Up Christmas List and her third album, Singing For You: Anniversary Edition, a rerecording of Elisa’s very first album from 25 years ago.

After two successful concerts in 2019, Elisa began exploring pop music and recorded a cover of the song You Are The Reason featuring award-winning artist Songsbury. This became her first song to be played on a local radio station.

Elisa then collaborated with songwriters Les Kotzer and Lewis Manne to record her first two original songs, Crying to the Moon and Love’s Destiny, and made her first music videos for those songs. It was an incredibly rewarding experience.

During the COVID pandemic, Elisa took an online songwriting workshop. Never did she think she would start writing and recording her own original songs, but it was an exciting journey! Christmas in My Heart was created after the passing of her grandmother, and more recently, she released Didn’t Think It Could Be You, inspired by award-winning musician Songsbury’s piano improvisation piece My Kingdom.

Over the years, Elisa Rose has come a long way. It’s been a lot of hard work, but so much fun at the same time. She reflects, “I look back at all that I’ve accomplished and am so proud that I was able to record all these albums and singles. I think I was catching up from lost time. I can’t see myself doing anything else. Music is my life. I live to sing.”

Elisa Rose’s music is available on all major platforms. Press play, listen, and enjoy the beauty, passion, and voice.
