Behind-the-scenes of Glimmer with Georgi Mottram

It’s album time for Jersey native Georgi Mottram and she has been spoiling fans with multiple videos to accompany the songs from “Glimmer.” We’ve already shared how this is an album that you need for your collection, and today we are delighted to show you some behind-the-scenes shots from the making and filming for this album. Many thanks to Georgi for providing these photos.

Georgi in the studio

“Glimmer” is Georgi’s debut solo album and features nine tracks from film, theatre, classical canon and more produced by Isaac Moore. Here we can see Georgi looking effortless in the studio recording for the album.

Album Photo Shoot

By now, you have seen Georgi’s beautiful album cover but here is a look into the shoot and an alternate gown. She looks every inch the Disney princess with her flowing Rapunzel hair and studio lights.

On-Location: I Will Always Love You

Track 6 on the album is “I Will Always Love You” written by Dolly Parton and made into a major hit through Whitney Houston’s version in the “Bodyguard.” The piece has been especially popular in the crossover genre thanks to Katherine Jenkin’s Italian translation. Georgi seems to have incorporated elements from each: Dolly’s simplicity, Whitney’s pure voice and Katherine Jenkins guitar. It is gentle, romantic and just beautiful.

On-Location: Moon River

Georgi’s Barbie pink pants suit is contrasted with cliffs and blue sea on the set of her new video for “Moon River.” The song which is Track 4 on the album is given a modern, longing piano and together with Georgi’s dare we say, shimmering soprano is absolutely lovely.
