MUSIC INSPIRED BY REAL EXPEDITION
The album is inspired by the expedition of Lenka & Honza Poláček, a married couple who successfully summited Everest last year in May 2024. Their story is one of endurance, trust, and an unbreakable will, it became the inspirational heart of this album.

ABOUT THE COMPOSER
Daniel Bordovský, known by his artist name Borrtex is a 25 year old composer and producer based in Ostrava, Czech Republic. His work is characteristic in connecting sounds of modern classical music with minimalistic melodies typical more for soundtracks and instrumental alternatives.
Since his early days, Borrtex has now racked up more than 100,000,000streams on some of the world’s biggest streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. His songs were featured in over 5,000international projects including the titles of Netflix, HBO, Showtime and Disney. Daniel’s work appeared also in commercial advertisements for some of the most esteemed global brands.
MEETING HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS
Borrtex was born in Havirov, Czech Republic. Since the age of six, he started attending piano classes on a regular basis. He studied on a Music school of Leos Janacek for seven years. In 2017 Borrtex started publishing his own work as an independent artist. A trip to Los Angeles later that year solidified his commitment to instrumental composition, after a meeting with Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Danny Elfman, Mychael Danna or John Debney. These meetings helped further enhance Borrtex’s desire to follow in their footsteps.
