(Oct. 30, 2020 – New York, NY – Powerhouse tenor Daniel Emmet, whose meteoric rise from finalist on the NBC series, has led to Las Vegas headliner performances, to solo concerts with prestigious orchestras, to numerous national TV appearances, will release a new single, “The People,” Oct. 30.  Joining Emmet in song is Dominican-American rapper FADED BreeZie. The track is available at all digital retailers.

As a finalist on season 13 of “America’s Got Talent (AGT),” Emmet is best known for taking on the “impossible challenge,” levied by judge Simon Cowell — to learn a new song in Italian in one hour, then perform it live on national television. It was a spellbinding moment that, as in all of Emmet’s AGT performances, brought the judges and audience to their feet in fervent applause.

His run on AGT was sensational, culminating in a command performance in the finale of the season, a stunning duet with opera star Placido Domingo. Domingo said of Emmet, “He is the future. . .a great entertainer.”

Emmet also won wonderful plaudits from singer Marie Osmond, with whom he toured. She described him as “a star on the rise with a once in a generation voice.” Singer Mel B said she could listen to his voice “all night long.” The Las Vegas Review Journal called him, “mesmerizing, the gateway drug to classical music.”

Often referred to as the “gateway drug to classical music,” Emmet defines what it means to be a crossover artist. He possesses an addictive, intoxicating unique voice. It bursts with operatic power, yet is mellowed by pop sensitivity. He is known for his wide range of expression that spans musical genres from rock, to pop, to opera. He sings in seven languages.

“I hope those who hear ‘The People,’ will believe in its message,” Emmet said. “Every person has a voice that deserves to be heard. In these unprecedented times, the need to listen to one another, and to feel that you have been heard is even greater.”

On collaborating with BreeZie, Emmet said the rapper has a genuine heart that shines through in his delivery. “Bringing together our two unique styles was an unforgettable experience, and I believe that we created a timeless message.”

Emmet’s first single, a cover of Il Divo’s “Passerà,” debuted at #2 on the iTunes classical chart. He headlined his own show, “All That I Am,” for an exclusive run at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He appeared on the first season of the CW network’s hit summer series, “The Big Stage;” debuted his solo symphonic concert tour with the Irving Symphony Orchestra and performed the National Anthem for Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon Series and the Top Rank Heavyweight Boxing Championship on ESPN+.

From his national TV appearances, to the Las Vegas strip, to concert halls throughout America, Emmet is known as a “wow” performer, attracting legions of fans, old and new.

His upcoming events include “Daniel Emmet in Concert” with The Plano Symphony Orchestra on Nov 21st, 2020, (tickets available for in-person and livestream @ wwwplanosymphony.com,) The Desert Symphony, Palm Desert, CA, and The Cleveland (Ohio) Pops Orchestra.

“The People” was written by Emmet, Carlos Acosta (BreeZie), Grammy Award winner Frank Myers, and acclaimed songwriter, arranger, and musical director Jerry Williams. Vocals were recorded at Studio at The Palms, Las Vegas, and the orchestra was recorded by The City of Prague Philharmonic, in Prague, CZ. “The People” was mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer David Reitzas, and mastered by Maor Applebaum at Maor Applebaum Mastering in California, USA.
